Nana is one of the BTS stations you need to get off at for access to intrigues and entertainments in Bangkok. Nana itself offers a variety of entertainments, cuisines, and shopping experience, but Nana is also the juncture to the famous Sukumvit Road and the infamous Soi Cowboy…yee haaa!

If you want to sample some authentic Middle Eastern cuisines, but are not ready to head over to Baghdad just yet, then Soi Nana is your best alternative. Soi Nana is where the Arabic expats and tourists converge, as there are hotels and restaurants that cater directly to these folks. With the aroma of Arabian spices, grilled kakabs, and shishas permeating the night's air, one can easily forget that they're in Bangkok. I recommend taking a stroll down the street from the Grace Hotel to see what Middle Eastern delights are being offered, grab a seat at one of the cafes or restaurants, and just take in this little Arabia in Bangkok. Order a shishas as well as it will definitely add to the Arabian feel!  

Besides the Arabian Night Xperience, there's also the wild Xperience over at Nana Plaza (or Nana Entertainment Plaza), an entire building dedicated to adult entertainments. This three story complex is specially licensed to operate adult bars and clubs, so no worries about police raids. Upon entering, you'll be greeted with open bars at the center that are packed with exotic looking bar girls, to the sides are various dance clubs and bars. If you just want some beers and chitchat with the ladies, then just stay in this area. However, if you want to heat things up a bit, then head on into one of the bars on either side or head up the escalator to explore the 30+ bars that are in there. To give you an idea of what sort of entertainments that are offered, names like "Rock Hard", "Hollywood Strip", and "G-Spot" should help light up your imagination. Note: Beer and other drinks at Nana Plaza are moderately priced at 125-150 Baht. Expect the ladies to hassle you to buy them drinks, they're just doing their thing, so don't sweat it.
